Would The Last Person Out Please Switch Off The Lights?!

Poor old Hodgkins works in a saw factory and  is always the one that has to go down to the basement of the building and switch off the lights at the end of the day.

It's hard enough getting down there.

Getting back, in the dark, is another matter entirely. Especially when the building's timed auto-lock is threatening to lock you in for the night !

Help Hodgkins with:

      - Shift & Ctrl

      - QWERTYUIOP & ASDFGHJKL

      - left & right mouse buttons

      - A & B on an XBOX controller

for JUMP and TURN respectively.

Hold JUMP for a bigger leap or to WALL HANG.

After each day, Hodgkins is promoted to a bigger building, with a deeper basement.

Would The Last Person Out Please Switch Off The Lights?! was built for the 5th Platformer Challenge, hosted by GameFavorites on itch.io

The task was to make a platform game with INVISIBLE PLATFORMS. I'd had this idea floating around for a while and I thought it fitted in with the jam's theme well enough.

I took a few days to build the game, but felt no rush until the very end, and, as a result of bad time management, the levels haven't been tested very well. I hope they're all possible. I know they aren't balanced - they should really all be about the same level of difficulty being as they're randomly chosen after the first room. They definitely aren't!
